Foundation Subjects

Following on from our long term curriculum overviews, based around our themes, our staff use our medium term subject plans to help them deliver a broad and balanced curriculum.

Our plans identify the characteristics we are aiming to develop within each of our subjects and the knowledge and skills progression throughout key stages one and two in each foundation subject area.

Each foundation subject area is developed from the National Curriculum expectations for key stages one and two.
