Year 1 Trip
Year 1 went to Souter Lighthouse this month to continue their theme of ‘The Seaside.’ The children were able to explore what a Lighthouse Keeper’s cottage would have looked like and learn about what makes a lighthouse work. The best part of the day was when they climbed all the way to the top of the lighthouse. The steps were quite steep and tiring, but they made it! After lunch they then made and decorated their very own lighthouses – which even light up! All children behaved exceptionally and were brilliant advocates for Benedict Biscop.
