Mrs Sarah Armstrong
Sarah is a long serving member of the Benedict Biscop team, having worked at the school for over 14 years. During this time, Sarah successfully led the development of English, securing improving trends and high achievement across the school. Sarah was appointed as Headteacher of Benedict Biscop CE Primary in 2018, following her promotion from Head of School. Sarah successfully completed her NQPH in 2017.
As a senior leader, Sarah lead the school through an outstanding SIAMS Inspection in 2017. Sarah is keen to sustain the outstanding provision established at Benedict Biscop CE Academy and is passionate about education and is determined to make a difference to the lives of children in Sunderland. She is committed to developing outstanding teachers and improving the quality of education for all children.
